The 9th Beijing International Art Biennale opened on Friday, January 21, 2022 in the Chinese capital with works by 573 artists from 117 countries and regions around the world.

This year’s event presents a wide range of works of art, including paintings, sculptures, installations and tableaux around the theme “The Light of Life”, within which, contains both the Olympic spirit and that of the fight against COVID-19.

I participated with the work “futuro”, an acrylic painting measuring 120 x 100 cm, in this work I represent a girl symbolizing hope for the future, protected by a geometric cataphract, alluding to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
